Trapani: Full-Day Salt Pans and Historic Center Tour

After being picked up from your local hotel, you will depart from Trapani and drive for 20 minutes before reaching Saline di Trapani. Your first stop will be at the Maria Stella mill, a member of the World Wide Fund for nature that protects all species of birds that reside in the salt works reserve of Trapani.

Following this, you will advance to the Chiusicella salt pan, stopping to admire and photograph pink flamingos on the way. You will then head to the salt museum, where you will stop for a guided tour lasting 30 minutes. After your tour, you will have free time to photograph around the salt pans and explore. You will then depart for the historic center of Trapani, stopping at Piazza Garibaldi. This is a central point where you can visit the cathedral, the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and the pedestrian streets of the center which contains various churches.

You will then depart for Torre di Ligny, with a stop at a local museum planned. Finally, you will visit the former fish market square, which features a photographic stop and walk around the ancient walls of the city of Trapani. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned back to your accommodation.
