What people are saying about Toyosu Fish Market
Of the several unique and wonderful experiences we had during our trip this was exceptional! Tsubasa was a conciderate and knowledgeable guide who was known and respected by many of the local fish mongers. We toured the fascinating outer and inner markets where we saw many interesting sights. After the tour we went to a private kitchen where the Sushi master showed us how to prepare and make sushi. This was a speciale time my wife, son and I will remember fondly. Tsubasa added another special Sake tasting option where I discovered I like sake. Unlike the paint thinner like flavore I had tasted in sushi bars in the states these sakes we flavorful in the best sense of the word. This adventure is one we highly recommend and if you are fortunate enough to have the guide and chef we had I am sure you will be most happy you booked it's well.
The kids and I had such a fun morning touring the markets and making sushi. It felt like a truly authentic Japanese experience which I would highly recommend. Our guide, Tsubasa, spoke fantastic English and had a very good sense of humour which also made for an entertaining time for my teenagers. A huge thank you!
good way to see the market and its working. Loved watching the guys cut up the tuna and it was the most amazing tasting I have ever experienced. Would have liked to learn re cutting fish more but the sushi making was good and there was tonnes of fish to eat. Don't eat beforehand!
Loved this tour. You’ll never get an experience like this one. So unique. I opted for the all you can drink sake too. We got to try 10 different sakes. Well worth it. I left the tour really full and slightly tipsy. Perfect!
If you would like to get an intimate view of the Tsukiji fish market and enjoy sushi making lessons over fresh sushi and delicious sake with English speaking Japanese guide then this tour is for you!
