Full description
Starting from the culture center of Asakusa, your private guided tour will take in the observatory on top of the tower where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then, you will discover the Asakusa district, filled with plenty of outstanding sites. Here is the center of Tokyo's shitamachi (literally "low city"), where an atmosphere of the of past survives.

Asakusa's main attraction is Senso-ji, a very popular Buddhist temple built in the 7th century. The temple is approached via the Nakamise Shopping Street and Kappabashi-dori, a street that has been providing temple visitors with a variety of traditional local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries.

You will be immersed in this unique atmosphere and discover artisan shops and local markets, culminating in a guided visit to the oldest temple in Tokyo.
