Full description
Although public transportation in Tokyo is very convenient, it can also be quite pricey as individual trips typically cost from 100-500 yen. It may not seem like much when you tap your Suica card each time you pass through the ticket gate, but if you do the math at the end of the day, you'll find that it can add up to be quite a lot!

There is a much cheaper alternative available: This 24, 48 or 72-hour Metro pass offers unlimited use during consecutive days within your chosen timeframe.

Your pass provides unlimited access to all the Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines within the Tokyo Metropolitan area, taking you anywhere in the city you may want to go.

Give yourself at least a day or so to get used to the Japanese metro system, especially if you don't know the language. Navigating your way around the stations, especially the major hubs, can be daunting, to say the least. But once you have grasped the basics of what to look for (like the color of the line, the code number, the before and after station names, etc., to know which way you're headed), then you become more confident and it all becomes a breeze.

Michie was an excellent guide thru Tsukiji. She was knowledgeable about food and who the best vendors were, and led us thru trying some amazing dishes! Her English was excellent, and she was outgoing and extremely nice as well. she worked information about Japanese culture into the morning to help give our good experiences context. As an added aside, I have some mobility issues and walk distances with a cane. She was considerate of that and let us take a couple of breaks without missing a beat. our morning at Tsukiji was wonderful, and made a million times better by having Michie as a guide.
