What people are saying about Tokyo
Naomi was an excellent tour guide who clearly loves the Tokyo area and culture. In the fish market she showed us many shops and talked about the things they sold. After that we went to a more commercial part of town for the cooking class. Our instructor, Hitomi, was similarly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was amazing, I was inspired to buy a tamago pan so I can start making it at home! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you have any interest in sushi or the fishing industry you owe it to yourself to take this tour.
We ended up getting late for the cooking class because we missed 1 train stop, however they didn't seem to mind so we could start the cooking class calmly. The instructions they gave were very clear and the dishes we made were fun and delicious! I would definitely recommend this experience. The cooking studio wasn't easy to find, though they already warned us for that. Just make sure to have Wifi, because that will surely help.
The kids and I had such a fun morning touring the markets and making sushi. It felt like a truly authentic Japanese experience which I would highly recommend. Our guide, Tsubasa, spoke fantastic English and had a very good sense of humour which also made for an entertaining time for my teenagers. A huge thank you!
Loved this tour. You’ll never get an experience like this one. So unique. I opted for the all you can drink sake too. We got to try 10 different sakes. Well worth it. I left the tour really full and slightly tipsy. Perfect!
Our guide was fantastic. She made us feel special and was accommodating to our wishes. The sushi breakfast exceeded our expectations. Sushi Mafia is a hidden gem. Highly recommend this tour.
