We found the pass to be worth it when we added up the costs of what we did and what it would have cost to do them by paying separately. The pdf information the pass provided on the 100 included attractions was most helpful and maybe we could have gotten that from other sources but it worked out well for us to plan our itinerary from the list of things the pass would pay for. Not all of our activities that we did in NY were covered, but that still was OK. You need to calculate how much you think you're going to do on your trip to determine if it's good for you. We did not feel like we were running all over to do things to make it worth it, but we were busy most days all day long.
I got the 3 day uptown, mid-town, downtown, 1 hour cruise and night time package with entry into a museum plus a get 1 hour free biking around the park. Def worth doing - I stayed in Manhattan Time Square. I was there for 5 days but during my package period was unable to get back to do everything I'd wanted so...FYI, if you do the same and want to "extend" for another day, just go into the Big Bus office and get an upgrade for $20 as opposed to buying another one day ticket.
It was a little hard to figure out how to get on the bus to begin with....we were not in Times Square when we wanted to hop on. Once we figured that out, we liked the ability to hop off somewhere, explore and get back on again; hassle free. One seat (the last available) didn't have a seat cushion and I tore my jeans standing up. Other that that, it was a convenient way to see NYC.
Excellent tour, did all three in a row, we really enjoyed in it. Especially I would like to highlite your colleague Sherwood, extremely funny guy, with thousand of little story's along a way, about every corner of New York, and with great sense of humor, to make a tour differ from the other one's. Bravo ! Greetings from Belgrade, Serbia ! Jovan
die Fahrt zur Statut of Liberty. The tickets counter was not informed how handling the Sightseeing Flex pass. It toke us about one hour to get the right ticket and queuing/Organisation/Control was to long for this kind of sightseeing. All others Activities did work so well in comparison.
