What people are saying about Tbilisi

The best of the Georgian tours I have done!

I have done three tours from Tbilisi with three different comapnies, and the one organised by Friendly Georgia was by far the best of them, and also one of the best I have ever done! Our small group of 8 persons was very skilfully managed by our lovely, smiling and extremely well informed guide Khatuna and also the boss of the company Alex for a part of it too. Both cared for us a lot and took care of every detail of the trip. We made stops at many interesting places (e.g. the Zhinvali reservoir, the Ananuri fortess, the peace monument in Gudauri etc.) before we reached Stepantsminda and Gergeti with the amazing Gergeti church with the backdrop of Kazbegi, very clear on that sunny day. We had ample time for a meal at a lovely garden restaurant, snacks and toilet, but with that we still managed to catch the cable car back to Gadauri (lasting for one hour, optional). Khatuna provided us with very detailed information about all the places we saw. In a word, it was just a perfect day!

The BEST mountain tour that I have EVER taken!!

The BEST tour that I have ever taken!!! This was by far my most favorite experience that I had in my 10 days spent in Georgia. The tour takes you to the most beautiful nature places and the Gudauri + Kazbegi Mountains absolutely blow you away because the tour gives you an additional option (not included but NOT expensive!) to take a one hour, 30 lari cable car through them. If I could take this tour again, I totally would. My guide Alex was so informative, friendly, welcoming and he really knew where to take our small group of about 8 people! We got to watch people paraglide in a canyon, Zhinvali, eat lunch at a traditional Georgian cafe in Kazbegi, and I go to meet some extremely friendly, wonderful people who I grew close to by the end of the day-long tour. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE to take this; I can't recommend it enough!!!! I especially love how the group size is small because it is more personal and easier to enjoy. You will NOT regret taking this! Enjoy :)

two thumbs up bravo thanks to me demo for being the best tour guide

first a thanks to the manager sophie for keeping me well informed and updated about the tour on the days before. no buts about it , the kind sir Demo was my guide for this amazing day trip . he was perfectly punctual to pick me up ., was a respectful driver , had a great playlist- ! , it was exactly what i wanted— to spend the day touring with someone that felt like a friend i had not seen for a long time that i was at ease with rather than just a ‘tour guide ‘ . i absolutely loved the kukuska train ride ( one of my big reasons for choosing this particular agenda tour .. it was antiquity charm ) as it was my first time in georgia i had a lot of non day tour inquiries about the county and the culture that demo answered . it really was a highlight to my time here in georgia . i wish i had time to do another tour i would request demo again for what i am sure would be a wonderful day well spent in great company

Great day-trip-experience in Kazbegi and the area

We booked the tour with Alex as our tour guide and spent a beautiful day in the mountains. We traveled in a comfortable Mini-Van with six people including the bus driver and tour guide. The small group size made it possible to meet individual wishes such as stopping for a break for paragliding. Alex provides us with interesting information for all of the tourist attractions. I accidentally left my travel guide at one of the tourist sights and Alex and his colleagues were so kind to bring it back to me at my hostel! I would recommend the tour to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, informative day experience in the mountains for an affordable price. Otherwise, I would recommend you to take more than one day and stay for a night to fully enjoy the beauty of the Georgian mountains.

We have a great and memorable experience during the tour.

If you want something to do that will refresh your mind, this is the best tour I can recommend. I was amazed from the start in Green Monastery to Borjomi Park, to the Kukushka train until the last destination, Bakuriani.
