Full description
First stop is Bodbe convent which, according to the legend, is a burial place of St. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity in the 4th century.  Then travel on to Sighnagi, a small town in eastern Georgia located on the hillside, in the historic region of Kakheti. A small cozy town, lined with buildings in the style of South Italian classicism, scenic panoramas, mountain fortress walls surrounding Sighnaghi’s old part of the town and towers around offering stunning views of the Alazani Valley.

The next stop is the residence of the poet, public figure and Kakheti nobleman of the 19th century, Alexandre Chavchavadze, in Tsinandali. Walk in the unique English-French garden, famous for its varieties of blooming plants brought from abroad. Continue to Shumi winery located near the Tsinandali house-museum, where you will taste wine as well as enjoy some snacks.

The tour ends in Winery Khareba, which is founded on the long-established traditions of Georgian wine-making. The company works to maintain the unique wine culture and wine-making using both ancient methods and modern technologies. You will also get the chance to enroll on activities such as making Georgian bread, Churchkhela, and tasting different varieties of wine.
