Full description
After being collected from your hotel, you will be driven to Taxco, visiting Cuernavaca along the way. This city is considered the city of Buganvilias, or the "Eternal Spring", due to its warm climate. You will visit the cathedral, built as a mission in the year of 1552, one of the oldest in the country and representative of the era of the Viceroyalty Era. You will also enjoy a panoramic tour of the Palace of Cortés, built by order of Hernán Cortés in the years immediately following the Conquest of Mexico.

Following this, you will arrive at the "Magic Town" of Taxco, a picturesque colonial and mining town located on a hill with winding cobblestone streets, cozy squares, red-tiled houses, and a strong old-world atmosphere that has survived for hundreds of years. It is also very famous for its silver craftsmanship. You will visit the church of Santa Prisca, one of the largest in Mexico built in 1759 by the French immigrant José de la Borda, and you will also have the chance to visit various local silversmiths.
