What people are saying about Taxco
This was one of the best things I did in Mexico. If I were you, I would take the tour bus (which concludes the day in Taxco) and stay overnight in this beautiful city for at least a couple of days. It reminded me of Monaco, near the French Riviera, with the beautiful town escaping into the mountains and the winding streets. One thing on that - definitely wear shoes that are good for walking! Going anywhere in the town is very winding and you will get your exercise. The city was gorgeous and my guide was great my only regret was not staying longer.
Taxco is really nice!, the time in Taxco was perfect (around 45min), no more time can be given due to the long distance from CDMX. In Cuernavaca the Cathedral was really nice, apart from that there was not much more to see, or we did not receive guidance on what can be seen (better to search in advance) during free time (around 30min). The arrival time to CDMX is around 8:30pm Overall it was a Nice experience and the Guide was really friendly and helpful
Tour services met expectations: the guide Alicia was obliging and helpful in explaining everything, right from the very start of the tour. She gave snippets of information about the places as the tour van moved along the historic center. The driver is friendly and took us safely to and fro, and he was always available. Logistics were well managed. Charming Taxco is certainly the highlight of the trip!
It was a little messy at the start but as the trip officially began, it was obvious that the guide was extremely dedicated and he attended to everyone's needs. He speaks pretty good english and is a fantastic driver as well. Taxco and Cuernavaca are both very beautiful places as well, albeit really hot. A lot of sceneries and gorgeous streets, I really enjoyed it :)
An absolutely wonderful day. What a great value for money. Cuernavaca was good. Taxco is beautiful. The route to both cities was very scenic. Our guide Sergio go was superb.
