This is a great tour for someone who wants to have a short but fulfilling trip. I thought the price might be a bit expensive however including transportation, food, drink (which is A LOT) and all the explanation given from the guide is definitely worth it. I would recommend not to have breakfast in the morning but have a cup of coffee to make you awake... you will eat and drink a lot during the day but need to wait till you arrive to the island. Thanks for the lovely guide and everyone in the tour who made my day great:)
The tour is worth doing and very interesting with the guide giving all the information along the drive to cradle mountain of the small towns that we pasted throw and once we go there he took us on a guided tour around Dove Lake and explained the flora and fawner that was there and the history about how it go back to be owned by the state. The rain forest walk was very interesting with the King Billy pines, also saw live wombats.
It was a full day of tastings of what Bruny Island has to offer. Their cheese, chocolate, cider, honey, oysters - yum. Great selection of lunches at the Bruny Pub. Fabulous views from atop the lighthouse. This trip is a “must do”. Our driver/guide went above and beyond to make sure our day was one to remember. The Bruny Food & Wine Tour is a great way to explore Bruny Island while sampling some of the Island’s best produce and tourist highlights. Our Tour Guide was friendly & informative with a balance of humour for a few laughs to keep everyone on their toes. All produce stops were well organised and hosted by friendly informative hosts. Would highly recommend as a first Bruny experience.
