Full description
Today you will be brought face to face with the real Tangier. Start out with a peaceful drive along la Corniche, the central beach, and then visit the east side of the city. From here, you can snap some pictures over the port, and if you're lucky, you might even be able to see Spain from here!

Then, its time to head inland and visit Iberia and the California residential area, which is filed with luxurious chalets and villas (a bit like California itself!). Your guide will point out the history of these locations as you are treated to some fine photo and shopping opportunities.

Then, head along the coast for a tour of the mythical Hercules caves. These caves are said to have once housed the hero, and you can decide for yourself what parts of the legend to believe.

After the caves, it's time to come to the real heart of Tangier, with a walking tour of the Kasbah. This 15th century fortress has been rocked by a tumultuous history, and as a crossroads of life here in Tangier, serves as a meeting grounds for people of all walks of life. The archeological museum offers a nice contrast to the packed and colorful streets. There's no shortage of people trying to sell you things, so keep a close eye for the best bargains.

Afterwards, head to the fruit and vegetable market for a different kind of commerce. Here you can taste all sorts of delectable fruits and olives, and also get a good look at Mendoubia, with its 800 year old Banion Tree. There is a chance for a mint tea in the Petit Socco before returning back to our starting point.

Excellent 6 hour tour. Everything was worth seeing. Comfortable, went at our own pace, not rushed. When we were drawn to something, the guide gave us the freedom to explore, or we could ask to see something and he took us there, such as a beautiful Jewish Synagogue down a tiny alley in the Médina which we never would have found on our own.

Our tour was really very good. Our guide Azelarab promised us a dream day with hundreds of photos and many surprising moments and he really did it . We have visited Medina and touched its history, we have visited many interesting places in the city and out of the city. We were ridding camels, playing with monkey, donkey, parrot and many others. We have visited the place where the Ocean meets the sea , the very rich part of the city, the animal cementary and of course all typical tangerian places recommended to be visited. Our guide was full of energy and passion for Tanger and Maroko. He took us to many places we would not be able to visit ourselves. He made us hundreds of photos, took us for a lunch to the really local restaurant were we eat together. He really gave us a wonderfull day with a suprising finish at his house. And last but not least at the end of the trip we made henna at the hands - its really nice. And don't worry - it desapears in 2 weeks.

Great experience, glad we booked

We were expecting a private tour but turned out to be a small group tour, therefore, don't be late! We were, and we felt awful. We got to see many beautiful sights with our group. We got to see the markets, the caves, ride a camel, and view some very beautiful hand made rugs. They even take you to a Argon oil place where I purchased oil for the family back home. Great for hair! I would highly recommend this tour. (Beware of sellers, if you act interested they will hound you) but if you are interested your tour guide is a very good person and will help you negotiate a fair price! I had his help Ina couple of transactions.
