Full description
Travel over the Sydney Harbor Bridge en route to the award-winning Hunter Valley region, the oldest wine region in Australia. With over 100 wineries set among picturesque landscapes, the Hunter Valley offers delicious local produce and amazing wines.

The day starts at an internationally recognised working winery where you will get the chance to join a 'behind-the-scenes' winemaking tour, and learn more about the process and knowledge that goes into making wine. Then it's into the cellar to stimulate your taste buds.

Lunch is next with a choice from an extensive list of local produce that will leave you satisfied. Relax with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink in hand and take in views from the balcony.

Visit two more wineries and have an opportunity to purchase wine from the cellar. Learn the history behind one of the oldest family-run wineries in the Hunter Valley. Walk among the vines, taste local produce and be sure to keep an eye out for kangaroos in the wild.

I took my parents who were over visiting from Ireland. One is a wine drinker and the other isn’t. They both really enjoyed the day as a whole. I love wine also so I was delighted to incorporate the wine tasting with seeing some of the country side. Our tour guide was friendly and punctual. Kept us well in the loop of what the day entails. We even got to spot some kangaroos and that topped the day off for my parents.

Our trip to Hunter Valley was one of the best trips I have taken. We visited 3 vineyards, a distillery and a chocolate factory. All were excellent. Had a fabulous lunch. The whole trip was tremendous value. To top it off Sam our guide was excellent, informative and made the bus trip so enjoyable. I would highly recommend anyone booking this trip. Just ask for Sam as a guide

Picture and title is a bit misleading, lunch wasn't anything like that nor was there any 'wine making' or stopover in the grape field as shown. Nevertheless, tour guide Chris was knowledgable and help to make the vibe better, he kept us engaged and let us know on the history of Sydney whilst on the way. However, tour started off tad bit late.
