Your Tour was in a word EXCEPTIONAL. Your Guide was a perfect Ambassador - struck us as a Migrant who clearly enjoyed her job which made a difference. The wealth of history and detail the guide had to deal with was also in a word HUGE but again, to her credit she did a wonderful job. The audio set up that we had plugged to our ears was great since we heard every word. It did not matter if we were in the middle or back of the group we were pleased to know that we had an equal share of the 'clips' that the guide delivered. We were impressed, we were touched and we were moved and our tour may well become the foremost memory we have of our visit to Sydney. Aptly this iconic structure of astonishing splendor now has become a World Treasure. A platform to bring out the best in creativity, youth and brave ideas past and present. So that humanity is enriched in ways that minds can be stretched, pacified and pleasured in awe and peace. We are much richer for the experience.

Great experience but photo price disappointing

The climb and the view and overall experience is absolutely amazing. However, you aren’t allowed your camera up for safer and security reasons and they take photos for you. At the end of the climb you receive a group photo and a certificate. The photos of yourself and/or your partner (around 4-5 pics) cost around $60 if you want it on a USB and another $60 if you want to print them. Considering the price of the climb itself ($250) we were shocked that we would have to pay so much for the pics. For that price we assumed the pics would be free, especially considering we couldn’t take out cameras uonwith is. This is an absolute rip off and I find this very disappointing.

Very interesting first hand experience of The Opera House.

The guided tour gave us the history of the design and time involved in completion of the Opera House. Also the story of Jorn Utzen and the tragic way he left Australia to never return and see his iconic building. It was great to sit inside each theatre and find out the type of performances in each one and the technical details of how stage and lighting function. Our Spanish guide was very enthusiastic and she welcomed questions from the group. She made us aware of the beauty of the building and the daily functioning with a performance taking place and some rehearsals also. We enjoyed some lovely food as part of the tour overlooking the Bridge and the harbour.

Beautiful views, but could have been better organized.

After paying extra for a window seat, they tried to sit us in the middle of the dining area. Apparently, what I had purchased did not show up the same on the voucher I was given when checking in. I showed my voucher on the mobile app and was told that they had to call the office to verify. After waiting for about 15 minutes (standing in the middle of the dining area as others were being seated around us), we finally got seated by a window. We were told that their system did not transfer the correct information to our printed voucher. This made the start of the dinner cruise uncomfortable and stressed.

An interesting insight into the History & workings of the Opera House

Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us the history of the Opera House and also an insight into the behind the scenes workings of staging performances. We were expecting the " tasting plate" that we opted for as an extra, to be some cooked meats, olives etc. The quantity of food was staggering and would easily have fed a family of four and the quality was also excellent.
