Christmas is one of Sweden's most popular holidays and the preparations begin weeks in advance. Christmas trees are bought, carols are sung and toffee and sausages are made. The dark evening skies are lit up with Advent stars and beautiful chandeliers.
Let your guide take you on a stroll through the Old Town and tell you all about how the Swedes celebrate Christmas today but also about how the same tradition was celebrated in ancient times. If time allows the guide will also talk about other traditions special to the Swedes.
