Wonderful Day Tour of Castel Gandolfo, Vatican Museums and St. Peter's

Wonderful way to spend the day if you’ve already seen most of the main historical destinations in the city center. The tour began a little early (8:00 am) with a bus ride to the small town of Castel Gandolfo where the Pope’s summer residence is. We rode first by bus, then by a mini eco-train around the sites in this beautiful mountaintop town. After visiting the Pope’s private gardens and the Papal Palace, we were given some time to eat lunch and walk about town a little. This incredibly adorable town sits at the top of the mountain, overlooking the lake so on a clear day (which we luckily had) the views were breathtaking. Definitely enjoyed the morning at Castel Gandolfo more than the afternoon at the Vatican – but a visit there is a must when in Rome. If it were a longer trip, we would’ve liked to spend more time in Castel Gandolfo and around the Castelli Romani. Such a nice change of pace from the city center and so beautiful!

The most comprehensive, inexpensive & practical for cruise passangers

A perfect way to see Rome for cruise passengers arriving to Civitavecchia. Loved it and would highly recommend for anyone coming with a cruise ship. Pros: -great price, MUCH cheaper than overpriced tours sold on board - very comprehensive tour, all main attractions (including Vatican) are included - multilingual tour guides (all major languages are available) - each bus includes an assistant from Civita tour company in addition to a tour guide - great comfortable buses - very easy to find: the free shuttle takes everyone from the cruise right to Civita tour staff/buses waiting area

The tour is excellent, quick and easy tour to Rome

The tour itself is excellent, the guide is very enthusiastic. Easy to find the meeting point and convenient drop off. The only draw back is they could manage the timing of the bus better. The bus send us back to the port 25 mins later than expected, leaving us only 5 mins before the all aboard time. So a group of us have to run to the port shuttle to catch the last shuttle back to ship. A bit scared that we would miss the ship but luckily we are all fine and we are not alone.

The most fun way to see the sights of Rome!!

We had a great time with Matt, who showed us how simple it was to operate the segways and had such a vast knowledge of Rome and all its history. We got a private tour as only us two had booked and Matt was happy to take us all over Rome stopping here and there to tell us the important facts. Would definitely recommend this tour and will always look out for segway tours from now on whenever we are on holiday.

Excellent for a guided town visit with great fun on segway

I recommend strongly to visit a town on segway. Not only it's great fun but you get a good and quick overview. Fun, quick without walking efforts during hot summer days by enjoying as well a guided tour with explanations. Some places I would not have been visited during our stay in Rome. Stefan was a great guide. We enjoyed it a lot. Panaroma Tour for two hours. Thanks a lot Mum with 16 years old son.
