What people are saying about St. Pauli Piers

Great time with Phillip Donnellon on last Saturday in late July. This bike tour was amazing for several reasons. Phillip knows his history, we had a smaller group which made navigating that much easier, we were able to hope on the ferry to Elbphilharmonie, Elbi Tunnel cruising on the bikes again, St. Pauli. We covered so much ground which was amazing and washed it down with a cold brew to finish the tour. Bikes were super comfortable and in great shape. No wobbles, worn seats/handlebars etc. I'm 6'5 and usually the one size fits all puts me in a tough place. 3 speed.

Hamburg 3.5-Hour Bike Tour Reviewed by Adrian, 07/26/2020

The tour was great! Yes, the commentary is in German (as described), and our guide was cracking a fair number of jokes which might be harder to understand for a less proficient speaker. However, most of the facts (size of port, number of containers etc) of the port should be easier to understand. You get a nice round through the river portion and industrial section of the harbor, and see huge container ships, shipyards, recycling stations, and dry docks. Definitely recommend the 2 hour tour instead of just 1 hour!

2-Hour Hamburg Port Tour: Maritime Flair Reviewed by Anonymous, 07/05/2020

It was a bit difficult to find the right meeting place and the small boat that we had booked on wasn’t running due to high water levels. We were lucky that another larger paddle wheeler was accepting our tickets . The tour was all in German which we knew ahead of time but it was not the route we had bought tickets for. So instead of the canal we got the the shipping port . It was a good evening activity but not what we expected.

Hamburg: Evening Illumination Cruise through Harbor Reviewed by Anonymous, 03/15/2020

It was well worth it. It's nice to see the Harbor and Hamburg from the water. The only problem was that we had a hard time understanding the Captain. Might need to look into a different speaker system.

A very special boattrip. So many sigjts to see in one hour. Impressive. One person to serve drinks for so many people was a drawback. we waited for a glass of water for one hour.
