Spirits of the Red Sand
At Spirits of the Red Sand we're passionate about indigenous culture. We are not about rolling out a token didgeridoo player before the real entertainment starts... no, no, no. We have put indigenous culture and Australia's history front and centre. Guests that come to Spirits of the Red Sand experience the world's oldest living culture through a part-gritty docudrama (historical re-enactment) Aboriginal Live Theatre Show and Dinner Experience. Through vivid storytelling and live sets, meet Jarrah and his brothers and witness first hand as history comes alive. Journey from Dreamtime to Australia of the 1800s as all your senses are engaged. This is truly a first of its type experience in Australia and our guests are raving about the experience, the friendly cast and crew - and the food! We operate 7 nights a week from 6pm, the show's duration is 2.5 hours and we think there are many reasons why this is special, unique, authentic, immersive, interactive, but mainly because we get to share our customs, our culture, our traditions and our story with you. And while we are Australia's newest and most spectacular Aboriginal live theatre show, our experience is well steeped in the tourism industry with the master storyteller behind the concept also owning Tamaki Maori Village in Rotorua - the most awarded cultural attraction in New Zealand. So if you want to have a memorable evening, be enlightened about Australia's history and actually connect with Aboriginal culture, then come and visit us at the Beenleigh Historical Village, located halfway between Brisbane and Gold Coast. Experience includes transfers; live roving theatre show and Aboriginal culture and 3-course BBQ Buffet Dinner and Dessert. Transfers from select hotels on the Gold Coast and Brisbane included.
