Our info said meet near the clock at 4. We were there but couldn't find Peter. After 10 to 15 minutes we asked a man standing up the road near the church if he was the guide and he was. The guide was terrific with great knowledge of Romanian history and was able to explain the complexity of historical events. He pointed out the key buildings and how leaders led to advances in education health, literacy and society. A very interesting tour with a guide who blended history and contemporary developments.
Great experience, would give it a 5 but for a couple of places were closed when we went and then we had to lose points to use hints to get the answer (not that it's that big a thing, but still...). Overall entertaining and very informative way to spend a few hours exploring the city.
Charles was very friendly and well I Answered all of our many questions about history, religion, language and culture. We both thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The best we have done in Romania by a long way and would strongly recommend Charles as a guide.
The guide we had was incredibly intelligent, verbal, thoughtful and kind, so our city tour was delightful!
Tour guide was great but it was supposed just English. It was English and German so it took longer.
