Full description
This tour begins with a visit to the state-managed Odusan (Dora) Observatory, which looks out across the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Here, many talks are held about North Korean issues and the Korean People’s desire for unification. At the observatory you’ll watch educational videos and then listen to a speech given by a North Korean defector, followed by a Q&A session. Visit the exhibition hall to better understand Korean history and enjoy a traditional North Korean performance.

After a delicious lunch of bulgogi or bibimbap, you’ll visit the village of Panmunjom, where the Joint Security Area (JSA) is located.  First, you’ll take the bus from Camp Bonifas in the Military Armistice Commission Headquarters area. Then, listen to a briefing before travelling on to the Panmunjom conference room, used by the two Koreas for various diplomatic engagements and negotiations. You’ll then transfer to a military bus and move inside military area.

Throughout your tour, your guide will help you to gain an accurate understanding of the North Korean regime and the implications of its policies and philosophies on the countries around it, as well as on the rest of the world. After your tour, you will return to the Koreana Hotel in Seoul at around 5:20 PM.
