Full description
If you have ever read about ancient Asian history or watched a movie based on that period of history, this Korean Folk Village will make your imagination come to life. The Village is a recreation of the whole environment of the late Josen dynasty period for both domestic and foreign visitors to experience ancient history.

With the Gywangmyeong Cave option, you will have a unique experience by visiting the largest theme cave park with cultural and artistic entertainment. Gwangmyeong Cave was originally a gold mine filled with gold, silver, and bronze. Now, travellers can explore various themed sites such as Wine Cave, Cave Aqua World, Gold falls, Gold Road, Gold Palace, Horror Experience, Cave Basement World, Underground Lake, the largest dragon sculpture in the nation, LED lights, and other surprises adding more fun to the visit.

With the Uiwang Rail Bike option, you will take the nation’s first rail bike that circles around a lake. By riding the bikes, riders can see the beautiful natural scenery of Wangsong Lake, a visiting place for migratory birds and well-preserved natural site.

Our tour turns into private tour because we're the only pair booked for this tour. James was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed the scenery of uiwang lake during railbike. Korean folk village was so much fun with streen show and live performances. We got to experience hanbok as well.

it wasn't so much of a tour as it was someone shuttling you to the sites. Now with that said the rail bike was definitely a fun activity. Then going to the traditional village was a blast. It is bit of an amusement park of sorts but like a history one. I felt I stepped back in time. I love things from the past and I felt I was in a movie.

We had an English guide! She gave a short explanation and then one was allowed to move freely. That was great! Everywhere there were signs with descriptions in several languages. There were various program items: drumming, horse acrobatics, wedding ceremony. We had 4 hours in Foll Village for us. Have previously received a business card from the guide with all the usual chat accounts. So we were able to reach our guide at any time: Kakaotalk, WhatsApp, Line, etc. After that we went to Gwangmyeong in the cave, we had about an hour to look around. Then we went back to Seoul!
