Full description
Travel back in time on this unique day tour to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Travel from Seoul to Imjingak, only 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line. This park was built in 1972 in the hope that someday unification would be possible. Stand on the Bridge of the Freedom, where South Koreans crossed when they returned home, straddle the famous Unification Bridge and explore the key sites of the DMZ, like Dora Observatory.

Venture into the Third Infiltration Tunnel dug by North Korea. Since 1974, four secret tunnels have been discovered crossing the Military Demarcation Line. They are believed to have been planned as a military invasion or infiltration route, and each tunnel is large enough for 30,000 soldiers to pass through in an hour. Immerse yourself in history at the DMZ Theatre, with a short documentary film and numerous relics and artifacts from the Korean War.

Pause for lunch and enjoy a range of freshly prepared North Korean dishes in the defector-owned restaurant.

Return to Seoul and discover Insadong – a place loved by global celebrities – and explore hundreds of art galleries, traditional handcraft shops, antique markets and traditional tea houses. Enjoy a tour of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, where the past, present and future exist together. The tour finishes in the early evening.
