What people are saying about Seoul

Learnt a lot on the tour that I had no idea about, guide was great!

Got to learn a lot about the history behind the Korean War and the DMZ, guide was great with all his information. Be prepared for a decent amount of stairs and a fair about of walking when going to the tunnel, but all was worth the effort.

Really interesting and probably mostly because of our guide

Really interesting tour! I wasn’t sure to take this tour with the description of it and for just like go at the border to watch towards the North Korea, but it was super interesting and mostly because of our guide Kim! The explanations about everything he gave us was super pertinent!!! We really recommend this activity, it was one of the highlights of our Korea trip!

Great tour guide, awesome locations, good to be part of a group

I travelled to S Korea on my own so was really happy to spend the day with an awesome group. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly and made the day loads of fun! (Thanks Jessica!) This tour covers all the highlights if tge old part of Seoul and I really enjoyed my day! Highly recommended!

A deeper experience than just a bus ride to the JSA

I was really glad that we booked this tour with our guide, Shrek. The JSA had recently been closed, and that could be a killer for other tours. But for the Private DMZ Spy Tour, there was still plenty to see. The best part of the tour is the visit to the military outpost, where we really began to understand the dynamics of the DMZ. Shrek was excellent in both his knowledge and communication, so I was able to ask him many questions about North Korea, the 2 countries' relations, and anything else. He was balanced and thoughtful in his responses, which was much better than him just showing a SK bias (as other guides might). The tour also had stops at the presidential palace (where the NK spies tried an ambush in the 70's), the observatory, and it would have included the JSA if it had been open. We also used Shrek's car, so that added a great deal to the trip's convenience and flexibility. Overall, I'm really glad we did the DMZ Spy Tour. It was worth the extra money.
