Breathtaking views of the Glacier while driving the snowmobile. The cave is a natural one made by the water (not man-made like others). After leaving the Glacier we went to the Golden Circle and saw much of it... we did so much that we had con change the next day tour that was going to take us again to the Golden Circle (change it for the Norther Lights instead).
Fab day, great tour guide, brilliant driver for us safely through a snow storm, stunning locations, lovely tour coach
I can highly recommend this trip as a must for any type of stay in Iceland. Apart from seeing the waterfalls and the geysers which are awe inspiring, the bus trip is a learning curve on geology, the history of their Nordic ancestors, the mythology surrounding the goblins and elves......so so entertaining.
Yes, a super day out introducing us to the wonders that are Iceland. A day of waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, geysers and wonderful stretches of deep green moss covered lava rocks. Iris, an Art student paid particular attention to the colours of the environment and her commentary was delightful - full of stories, information and good advice. This tour has confirmed Iceland as a 'must return' location
From start to finish we had a great day. The right level of knowledge imparted, great sense of humour, good team work from The Ice Man, as he’s known, and driver, sorry didn’t get your name, but you know who you are, you’re a great driver and speak excellent English!
