I was originally going to sign up for the chef guided tour but decided to go with this one because it would include more history, and I’m so glad I did. It was so packed with food and stories and history - I loved it! Our guide Lucky was the best! He was so extremely knowledgeable, personable, and informative. He has years of experience as a tour guide. He said he does it because he loves it - and it shows. He has a deep knowledge of the entire city of Seattle. Afterwards he said we could call or text with any questions and he would be happy to answer questions or give recommendations. I was the only tourist in the group so that was great for me. Like I said, he was truly the best.

I wrote a review on TripAdvisor where I found the tour and purchased the tickets ...we had a absolutely awesome time with Melissa as our guide plus we had a terrific group! Melissa is so knowledgeable of the Market’s history and the family stories of many of the vendors we visited! The samples were abundant and super yummy! This experience was a highlight of our Seattle adventure, thanks Melissa!

The guide made us very uncomfortable. We had Jerry and he was very unprofessional, creepy, and not knowledgeable. The food we had tasted really good but Jerry was unpleasant to be around, especially when he shamelessly asked for tips from you at the end. A few of the stops were to get the free samples that were left out and then he tried to get you to buy things from the store so it didn’t look so bad which was also uncomfortable.
