What people are saying about Santiago

Great last minute tour with interesting organic wines

Purchased this tour the night before and received a quick email response to confirm that Henry, our driver, would collect us from our hotel in the morning. He provided us with interesting commentary on the journey & great conversation (excellent English). Matetic has an organic ethos & a charming situation. Our group was joined at the vineyard by some Spanish speakers but the vineyard'sguide provided information for both audiences. The showcase wine cellar was a clever design! After walking around learning about the process, we moved indoors for tasting. 4 glasses, 2 white & 2 red with bread & water & good explanation on each. We didn't leave without a visit to the shop where some good offers were available. Henry drove us back to Santiago stopping off at a wine warehouse with some additional 'tasting & food options. The day lasted longer than the advertised 5 hrs, more like 6.5 hrs, possibly due to the morning traffic. Well worth it though as we thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Awesome travel! everything ran well as we expected.

Juan a super attentive and careful driver. Pablo a super laid-back, ongoing and attentive guide. They tried at all times to do the best translations into English, they did it in Spanish in a clear and slow way so that everyone could understand it well. They presented the attractions as planned, even though they had an unforeseen event in the city of Valparaiso. The lunch was very good (already suggested menu with several options and fair price). The attractions were varied and with good walks on the edge of Viña del Mar and enough time to take photos, make videos, etc. The return was on schedule combined with all. I highly recommend the tour and the company.

A good way to visit Viña del Mar and Valparaiso in a short time

The tour is well organize and the driver was nice. As aspected, is an organized tour, so you have to wait for "group times" and visit something you'll probably won't like to visit (e.g. wine shop). The only complain was to be "obligated" to eat at "Castillo del Mar", a bit overpriced restaurant but with a beautiful view (actually you're not obligated, but the restaurant is set in a position that doesn't allow you make other choises), and to spend not enough time in Valparaíso, wich was my target. Anyway, for whom like me who have a few time to spend, this tour is a good choise.

Nice walk through the old part of Santiago

I was quite happy with the guide. Even though he had to juggle between English and Portuguese throughout the tour, he did a good job with it. The walk around the old part of the city was very enjoyable. The drive through the "new part" of the city was less interesting, but that had some value as well. The only annoyance I had was with the seemingly mandatory "store visit". I didn't expect that from the tour, but in the end I did want to buy some presents, so it was not a total waste of time. But I was still annoyed by it.

Sebastian is a Fabulous guide and driver excellent, do not miss this .

This day trip is exceptional in terms of value for money and seeing the area around Valparaíso. Sebastian is very knowledgeable and very willing to assist in any way he can. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant and food was of a good quality.
