What people are saying about Sant Sadurní d'Anoia
From the moment you arrive there is lots to see. Everywhere is clean with well kept gardens and interesting vehicles to look at before the tour. We started with a glass of cava as we were early from the lovely bar on the balcony outside, the sun shining down perfect. The tour guide was very good and explained eloquently . The tour lasted 90 minutes which was enough to see everything. The callers are vast and going down under the mountain on the train was good, so not to much walking. It was nice to hear the history of the family and to understand the background of cava and how it is made. Excellent value 10 pounds /15€ for two people.
i found the booking online quite easy, straight forward, the price was very good as when you look elsewhere, prices are double. we arranged train tickets to visit, and the day was a great we had no trouble getting to the vineyard and getting in. the tour was give by a man who loved his job and was very expressive about the products and the process involved in making great cava. great tour better than the torres one we did two years ago.
At first we were apprehensive about a 10 hour tour thinking it would be too long, but it actually allowed for a perfect pace with such the right mix of tour guide and time for exploring on our own. The small group size was perfect and the wine/cava experience was the perfect way to end the day. Henrique was our guide and did a fabulous job. I would go again and highly recommend this tour and especially Henrique.
Ana was our guide and despite we were only 2 for the whole tour, it felt like a private tour. She explained all about the history of Monserrat and provided helpful information on what to do around. We had free time to walk around and in the afternoon we headed to the Cava Winery. The experience was amazing and was worth every penny. Thanks Ana for a wonderful experience.
Our guide, Ana, was very nice and helpful. I thought there might be a little more information and history presented, but the information given was interesting. Tour well organized, but didn’t realize we would be on own for most of it. The cellar tour at Codorniu was quite fun and overall we enjoyed the day.
