Full description
The most complete full-day experience on California’s Central Coast! This full-day Hearst Castle & Wine experience allows you to enjoy the best of the Central Coast to its fullest. Your exclusive, family friendly, small-group tour starts with a complimentary pick-up from your centrally located Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, or Pismo Beach hotel. After meeting your knowledgeable, local guide and introducing yourself to the rest of your group, it's off to Hearst Castle for your first stop of the day. You'll cruise along the famous Pacific Coast Highway, also known as Highway 1, past incredible scenery full of coastal mountains, bucolic farms, and dramatic seaside cliffs as you snap photos and learn more about the area from your expert guide.

Once you arrive at the ornate and luxurious Hearst Castle, you'll make your way to the Grand Rooms, recommended for all first time visitors, as you take a leisurely stroll through the magnificent property on a guided tour that allows you to beat the crowds and enjoy the residence at your own pace. The guided portion of the tour will last approximately 1-hour, after which you will have time to stroll through the gardens and around the Neptune and Roman pools before taking the shuttle back to the visitor’s center where you'll be picked up to continue your adventure.

From Hearst Castle, you'll head to the nearby seaside town of Cambria for a delicious lunch and some light shopping as you browse antique shops and peruse the many art galleries that line the small artist enclave along the pacific coast. Each tour includes a shared cheese board that you can nibble on while safely cruising on the bus and bottled water to keep you hydrated throughout the day.

From Cambria, it's off to Paso Robles for guided tastings of unique, award-winning California wines at two boutique, family-owned wineries (tasting fees included) to learn more about the viticulture and winemaking process from small lot producers making incredible wines unique to the soil, climate and culture of California.  Finish the day in Tin City, Paso Robles’ hippest wine destination, where you will have some time to visit exciting boutique wineries, breweries, a cider house, and distilleries, taste sheep's milk ice cream, and more (at your own expense).
