What people are saying about San Gimignano

Excellent day out. From start to finish it had everything we expected

Perfectly timed, interesting and absorbing stop offs. Capped off with some great fun wine tasting.

Very worthwhile and comprehensive excursion

We booked this as we're staying in Florence and wanted to see more of Tuscany. We had a full day out. We opted to be self guided, although our tour guide gave us plenty of information regarding good places to see and took us to useful starting points. We very much enjoyed all stops. The Siena Duomo complete entry ticket allowed us to visit the Museum, from where the arch and viewpoint could be accessed, Duomo itself, wonderful painted old reading room, crypt and baptistery. All very worthwhile. The Tuscany countryside was beautiful. As it was November, we were unable to see the Panorama at Greve, We enjoyed a very good hot chocolate with cream on the attractive town square. We were glad that we had visited San Gimignano first on our trip. This very pretty little town was getting busy as we were leaving. We enjoyed the views from the fort and walls. Nice detour too, to vineyard for wine tasting prior to our last stop at Greve.

excellent tour to make your best time of two major towns in Tuscany

We chose the tour without local guide and museum entries, which is exactly what we wanted. Even though my fees are not included for guidance and stuff, the hostess still gave us the clear directions and suggestions of the destinations. The tour departed on time and be back in Firenze city on time too. Definitely recommend to people who have limit time of visiting Tuscany!

It was a good tour but wayto long from Lucca

I did this tour from Lucca and it ended up being a 15 hour day which is way too long. Pick up from Lucca was a bit late and main bus had to pick us up on the way. It was a full tour - large group but was well organised for such a large number. The tour itself went reasonably quick but advertises 11 hours and was told 13 when I arrived. Tour guide was very experienced and informative. I felt the meal at the winery was ok a bit more pasta would have been appreciated the servings a bit more for some lot less for others. I was pretty pleased with the tour and I would recommend it but it is quite exhausting and I am a fit person.
