What people are saying about San Diego

The tour was good, but could not hear the narrator!

When we arrived we were told we had to walk another half mile down the boardwalk to the other loading location. We had already paid for three hours of parking, so had to walk over there in the 90 degree heat. If this info. had been shared in the confirmation email we could have parked where it was much more convenient. The narration in the first hour was very good...clear and a good volume. The narrator that took over for the second half was very soft spoken. So, combined with the loud talking of a group that got on for the second half and this soft spoken man, we could not hear the narration! This could be a very good tour if these two things are dealt with.

Overall interesting tour by Navy shipyard.

Up top in open air, it was difficult to grab a seat (people who bought a two hour tour ticket were still there). Also on top open level it was very difficult to hear what guide had to say, so we missed a lot of information. What was most vexing was that the wrong address for meet up was listed on printed ticket & website. Made for unnecessary confusion and wasted time in trying to comply with request to be at loading area 15 minutes before tour was to start. Persons in information booths told us it was the old address, and they motioned in general direction of where we were supposed to go.

Looking for a quick water tour, this is for you

The flagship tour starts off right on time, there are many options for viewing on the boat, whether above deck or inside. There's a snack bar that also offer cocktails at a reasonable price. Overall, its a short but sweet tour of the harbor if you dont plan to be out in the water longer than an hour.

Fun first time cruise--good for young children

The one-hour cruise was perfect for our 11, 9, 5 and 2 year old--just like my enough to get them comfortable. The sea lion viewing was the highlight. Kids and adults could walk around freely insid and out on observation decks. Clean, roomy restrooms.
