What people are saying about San Carlos de Bariloche
Great trip to the Cerro Tronador national park. Its a 30mins drive to the park entrance from Bariloche and then there are a few stops along the way until you get to the black glacier at the base of Cerro Tornador. Time is provided for lunch (one hour) and a short trek to the Devils Throat (40mins) which is nice. Then a two hour drive back to Bariloche (slow going in the park as gravel track limits speed). Really good day out and some spectacular sights, great value with good driver and guide making the trip highly recommended.
This was a very nice tour, quite complete with gorgeous lake and Mountain Views. Our guide, Joanna was pleasant and knowledgeable and available for questions or concerns. The scenery was outstanding! It’s a long trip but comfortable even though part of the road is unpaved. We would recommend this tour.
This was a great tour. We tried all kinds of traditional Patagonian food and drink as well as learned about the history of Bariloche. With so many shops and restaurants in the town, it was great to hear where the best places are from a local and an expert. This is a must-do while you are in Bariloche.
we joined the English tour and our guide was Diego, who was knowledgable, informative, had useful illustrative material and made the whole walking tour really interesting. Learned a lot about the German influence on Bariloche from its inception to more recent events, some controversial.
Our guide tour was very patient and knowledgeable like a history teacher. He professionally answered to all my questions and spent extra time with us after the tour. I felt pleased to leave him a tip.
