Salinas Grandes: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Salinas Grandes
We had a great day seeing the coloured mountains and the salt lake with enough time to take in the sights. Very good guide who spoke excellent English and provided lots of interesting information. The hike at the end was pretty short. The service at the restaurant we went for lunch was terrible. The guide tried to make up for it by extending our stay in Purmamarca, which resulted in us coming back quite late in the evening.
So many great viewes everywhere. The guide did not speak really good english, so the guiding was a bit poor. I also thought that there would be more walking, but we had change to hike only for 40 minutes in the end of the trip. Mostly it was just driving all around and stopping for a few moments to see attractions. Still a great day!
Great day out to see the coloured mountains and salt lake - with enough time to take in the sights with plenty of photo ops. Lots of time on the mini bus but it’s the only way you can fit it in. Very good tour guide, really informative. Lunch was a bit long - 2 hours in Purmamarca where there isn’t much, but not much of a problem.
A passionate and knowledgeable guide made the trip. The salt flats are a phenomenon. We did pick up a couple of items from quality local craft outlets. The artist at the outside stand at yours highest point has some unique pieces. I regret not buying more
This was an interesting trip with a lot to see though much of it is riding in the bus. The guide was great and spoke excellent English. The hike at the end was pretty short and the service at the restaurant was terrible but that is not the guides fault
