What people are saying about Saint-Tropez
The town of Port Grimaud reminded me of Venice with its canals, so I wish I could have spent more time here. St. Tropez was a lux experience with much free time. The great guide also took us to some beaches as a bonus on the way back to Nice, so glad to experience some other places. The tour company does not understand English well, and I wrote them 3 times that I was not staying in a hotel. So the guide went to the wrong place for the pick up, which made the tour start late.
Pleased to meet up with our driver who was very polite and most helpful in taking us on our lovely drive from Nice Airport to the Columbus Hotel in fantastic Monte Carlo The driver took us the ' pretty ' way rather than the 'shortest boring motorway ' road so this indeed added to our enjoyment of this short 5 day break Would def use this service again and fully recommend the company
Friendly guide, but of the seven guests, four were Argentians who only spoke Spanish. Guide had to repeat/explain everything twice. Guide also more onfortable with Spanish, and chatted with he Argentians. The rear seat had limited leg room, while the centre had more than enough. It was a problem at times to hear and understand what the guide was saying when seated in the rear seat.
Everything was great except for the boat ride. The one motor on the way up was releasing a terrible exhaust and on the way back it got much worse. One wondered if we would even make the return trip successfully This experience dampered the whole trip unfortunately.
Good and experienced driver, comfortable car, knowledgible and panctual. Less informative in terms of a guided tour not much information provided on history, demographics, geography of the area.
