Very nice hike between rice fields and mountains

The hike was really great. We walked ten kilometers the first morning on steep and steep paths, we passed near buffalos! The view was magnificent The midday break was in a very touristy place (all the groups met here) and level quantity for big my hour it was a bit tight ... We then walked 1h-1h30 between the villages, before the group who had only booked for 1 day left us We continued walking for about twenty minutes before arriving in our Home stay, very nice, we were the only tourists, the evening meal with the family was very nice and very rich! The same goes for breakfast with homemade pancakes! Then we left towards the bamboo forest, and the waterfall where we could 'bathe (crowded with tourists), a last lunch with a beautiful view then return to sapa in mini van around 1pm

I absolutely recommend this trekking tour of Sapa. The views were amazing and our guide was great, as well as the H'mong people who accompanied us along the first part of the way. It had rained the day before so the trail was muddy and slippery and eveyone was super helpful in guiding us along. The food was simple but delicious and prepared at the home of our guide, so we didn't have to join big tourist groups at one of the food places. The homestay was clean and comfortable and there was some time to explore the village on our own. The second day was also a beautiful trail, although we met some other groups on the way which made it less intimate. Still beautiful views and also on that day a delicious lunch at a small local place with various options to choose from. Trekking through the valley is definitely worth it and a must when visiting!
