What people are saying about Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium
We have used guided bus tours before so knew what to expect. I booked a ticket on line but didn’t manage to put my ticket in my phone’s wallet. The driver was able to help us by letting us hop on the bus to the main station where he pointed us to a print shop where we were able to print a valid ticket. Once we had the ticket we were able to access both tour routes. The blue route 1 is the longer of the two, you can listen to a commentary in English. If the weather is up to it you can ride in the open section of the bus, if not there is downstairs, but the views are not so good. In bad weather they put a cover of the top deck. The blue route takes over an hour, the shorter red route,, Less than an hour.
We had an accident with your vehicle colliding with one of the city bus. However the driver did not panic . He safely parked the vehicle at the side of the road and ensured that we were arranged with the next transport for the city tour.
We did both routes bit because we were moving quite quickly because of very little traffic many times the commentary was cut short and never completed. The earbuds provided were to short of you say up front right on the top deck.
Tour has two lines. We rode both before spending the late afternoon and evening in Grand Place. It was a good way to see the sights outside the central core or the city.
We took the Europe bus first and got to see a part of the city we might not have seen otherwise. The Atomium route had a stop near our hotel which was very convenient.
