What people are saying about Royal Albert Dock Liverpool
We both thoroughly enjoyed it, packed with information, especially about Bill Shankley, but I had info for them, as he lived next to my great uncle in WORKINGTON, managing WORKINGTON REDS, my fathers cousin told me this two weeks before we went on our hol to the City. My grandfather & mam was from there. The bus was on time both leaving the City & coming back from Anfield, will definitely recommend the trip & join it next time we down. Reasonable price as well, well done.
A great Liverpool attraction for all ages, especially with the Spaceport for the kids. Location was also convenient in a scenic riverside location with fun active and nearby to Liverpool ONE shopping district. Boat option of having indoor and outdoor came in handy and catered to the constantly changing weather, especially with the onboard Cafe’s. Clear tour commentary audible from most places on the boat. Very memorable time.
I very much enjoyed this river cruise with an interesting stop off at a U Boat exhibition. My husband thoroughly enjoyed this. The cruise was very informative, on time and I loved the fact that Gerry Marsden’s song ‘Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey’ was played as well. I was humming this before we started the cruise! It was something I’ve always wanted to do.
I started out trying to plan a day out for a group of disabled individuals (core members) and was keen to find something that they may all enjoy. The tour bus was a great success and the entire group excited at the start and thoroughly pleased by the time they returned to the day centre in the afternoon. Fantastic.
The cruise made one feel part of the 800-year history of river vessels crossing the Mersey. To have had the opportunity to alight at Woodbridge and ride a retro tram to Wirral transport museum was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend the cruise to anyone coming to Liverpool.
