The shows Maori culture was very enlightening. A lot more complex for me to remember after only one show but fascinating performances on welcome, weaponry, skills, hand gestures as a language and so much more... Something to bring back with us to remember it all would be fantastic (cd, USB, web link etc...). The feast was filling with plenty to go around. My 4 vs 5 reflects that I thought the meats were dry ...but that is my taste.

Definitely worth seeing

A good insight into the culture of the Maori, with a lot of heart and humor. We did a guided night walk in Rainbow Springs Park after the cultural part and the good food, which is absolutely worthwhile. This enabled us to visit the park again free of charge on the following day and to experience night and day-active animals. The only negative: the promised feedback after booking via Getyouguide did not happen - we should be picked up by the organizer from the hotel, waiting in vain for a time to be notified. An employee of the Touri-Info called there for us and found out that the seats on the bus were all occupied. So we had to drive there with our own car, even though the transport was included.
