What people are saying about Rotorua

Our guide was exceptional, our experience was memorable.

Louise, our guide, was incredibly inviting and informative throughout the entirety of our trip. We spent about three hours driving through beautiful countryside learning about New Zealand’s history, agriculture, and Maori culture. We went to both Wai o Tapu Geothermal Park and the geothermal park/Maori culture park at Te Puia. The former was beautiful, and Louise made sure we knew how these geothermal areas were used by the Maori. Te Puia was an amazing experience, as we were graciously invited to participate in a welcome ceremony and performance, and toured the on-site school that teaches traditional arts and culture to new generations. It was extremely interesting (and heartening) to learn about the Maori and see the work being done to preserve their traditions. Walking through the rest of the park, we even got to see a geyser erupt amidst the smoking craters and pools. The day was extremely memorable, and our guide was one of the most pleasant people we met.

Amazing tour which the whole family enjoyed. Highly recommended

Amazing from start to finish. We were met by our tour guide and taken to our bus so no stress. Nice small tour of 11 people in a new mini bus. Our tour guide Buddy was amazing and had great knowledge of the area and attractions. The Māori village was really interesting to see. Lunch was great with 6 different options to choose from. The spa was amazing especially being in the adult only section. We even had time for Buddy to stop and show us some Deer's and stop at the kiwi farm for some samples and ice cream. I would highly recommend this great value for money tour

Lovely dinner and beautiful song and dance

We enjoyed very much the hangi dinner with lots of delicious food to choose from. It was all well organised and the haka song and dance was beautiful. We were also lucky to see the geysers in full action. It is although very “setup” for tourists so if you expect authentic Maori people living in their houses then don’t go here.

We had a fun day that was ran very professionally.

Our guide arrived on time with a comfortable and spotlessly clean vehicle. She and her husband ran their tour business together and took great pride in their service. She was very knowledgable. So sorry I can't remember your name.

Great mix of culture, education and natural beauty

The cultural show was entertaining and informative giving you a glimpse into the meaning of certain gestures and movements. The tour guide was witty and gave us great insight into the Maori culture.
