Full description
Avoid the long lines outside of some of Rome’s most popular ancient attractions and get skip-the-line entry to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. The tour is led by professional guides who will explain the history of Rome and introduce you to some of the most notorious Roman emperors.

Included with your privileged priority entrance to the archaeological areas are headsets that will help you to hear your guide better. You will visit one of the most famous monuments in the world, the Colosseum, the immense amphitheater that was the largest ever built by the Roman Empire. Imagine the gladiatorial fights and public spectacles that took place in the arena.

You will also go to Palatine Hill, site of the foundation of Rome and settlement of the most important houses of emperors and kings. Located just feet from the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus, it is the centermost of the 7 hills of Rome.

Hear about the legends and history of Eternal Rome and stop on the Via Sacra to learn how everyday Roman citizens used to live. You will also visit the tomb of the emperor Julius Caesar, and explore the ruins of the Roman Forum, center of all Roman government and public life.

It was easy to find the guide as they wore pink hi viz vests, they gave you a device and ear piece so you can hear your guide talk, the tour lasted about 3 hours so towards the end it did get quite boring to be honest, nothing to do with the guide, it was just to long. The colosum was great to visit, but I do prefer palatine Hill, that was amazing seeing the old ruins, you could imagine being transported back to those times. Definitely recommend that. Overall experience was very satisfying

We had the 9u30 tour with guide Alexandra. She was more than amazing. She can tell you everything there is to know and all you want to know. We started the tour at the Palatine, then the forum and ended with the colloseum. We thought it was a good order to do it because of the history line. But also for our concentration to keep being focused. This tour was wonderfully amazing.
