What people are saying about Rome

Great way to see Rome in short amount of time.

This was a fun way to tour Rome. We had very little time in Rome following a cruise to the Greek isles. We booked this tour literally at the last minute and the company was very accommodating. The weather was beautiful so having the open air experience added a nice ambience. We booked this tour because my husband has mobility limitations and walking was not an option for him. The tour guide was awesome. I wish I could remember the young man's name because he deserves the recognition (old age). It was obvious he loves his city. He took us to some lookout points that provided breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city. He allowed ample time to stop and take pictures. Being in the midst of the Italian traffic added a small sense of excitement but our guide ensured that we were safe at all times. Because the streets of Rome are cobblestone or have uneven payment, there were some bumpy moments but my husband didn't experience any discomfort. Lots of fun!

Best Hop-on Hop-off bus out of the many available

There are a number of operators in Rome and I am glad I chose this one. It is slightly more expensive then the others but this meant that for some of the other companies the lines at the bus stops were so long that people had to let one or two busses go pass as there was no space on the top. This one was busy as well but there was always a seat on the top. Stops are very conveniently located and busses run so frequent, you really never have to wait for the next one.

Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

For “Skip the Line Tickets”, we spent more time outside the Colosseum in line ups waiting to get in than we spent inside. We had to be at our designated meeting place at 09:25 for 09:40 entry into Colosseum. We did not get inside until 10:45, long enough to take a few pictures and leave as we had to meet our driver at 11:15 in order to get to the Vatican at our designated time.

Would definitely recommend to avoid crowds

We loved this tour! It was in 2 parts, the first part shows you things outside the Colosseum, like the Roman Forum, and the second part was the Colosseum. Both guides were great and really informative. The only thing I didn’t think through was that the pictures I took weren't great since it was dark out. However, I would do it again to avoid the normal crowds during the day.

Excellent. Guides bring the Colosseum and Forum to life.

Highly recommend this tour. Skipping the lines and access to the floor of the Colosseum alone makes it worth it. But our guide really brought the Colosseum to life. We got so much more out of the visit then if we had wandered around ourselves. And the Forum and Palantine Hill is worth the time even if you are tired. Amazing history again with an excellent guide.
