What people are saying about Rome
I did a complete round trip which took about 1 hour 40. Then stopped at a couple stops. Wish I’d stopped at each one looked around then went to next. Did night tour but first bus was full so couldn’t go on. Waited over hour for last bus and again was full and could only allow a few on. People in queue kicked off and the police were called. They did however get another bus for the rest of the queue. Glad I stuck it out tho as Rome at night is so beautiful - again did a full round trip in lights. In the morning I caught a bus to go to my Colosseum tour but it waited at bus stop for 20 mins so I missed my tour time. Check the bus is going straight away as pointless sitting on it going nowhere!
Sitting upstairs on an open sided bus was a perfect way to explore the sights of Rome on a very hot dayLearning a bit of the history of the amazing remaining structures and the way of life in ancient times has inspired me to find out more and go back to explore in more depth. I would highly recommend this tour.
Overall this tour was excellent. The concept of going at your own pace , hopping on and off is a great approach for a bewildered tourist. What I would do better; maybe explain to the audience when and where the free walking tours begin and how long should one plan for them.Terry from Calgary, Canada
Really enjoyed this facility in learning about Rome, which has so much to offer. Also used to book visits to specific sites we wanted to spend more time at. Loved that we could get on and off to experience certain places more indepth. Would definitely use again in other cities.
