Great ride to Trastevere via the Coloceum.

There seems to be some confusion as on our tickets it clearly stated from9.00 till 13.00 and when we got there It only opened at 9.30 am . Jean Paul was very friendly and helpful , he said he usually arrived at 10.00 am. Maybe get that organized on the website. There was a family waiting, they decided to leave.

great thing, unfortunately few bike paths in Rome

My bike chain jumped out twice and the saddle kept sliding down. Otherwise it was a lot of fun. But it is not entirely safe, as there are very few bike paths in Rome and a lot of traffic. Perhaps it would have been nice if you had got a few tips before you left where you can go cycling particularly well.

Had aclovely ride and felt quite sage even in Rometraffic

Bike shop was a little walk from the forum area. Vehicle was in excellent condition. Was zippy and quite responsive, a small learning curve required. I am a small girl and the bike was quite heavy. Newer models I expect will be much lighter. Have a solid plan of what you want to visit. I ended up wishing I had brought a mount for my I phone so I could use voice maps. All in all a fun experience, owner was very bice.
