What people are saying about Riviera Maya

This tour was exciting & spectacular natural formations & cool water.

One of the best tours I've been on. Our guide, Memo was so informative and made sure we all had an excellent experience. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and Rio Secreto in particular. He pointed out several interesting stalactites and stalagmites we might have overlooked. One person in our group of 10 was especially fearful in deep water and i was so impressed with how Memo was able to calm her fears and keep her safe so she could have an enjoyable experience as well as the experienced swimmers. I did purchase the USB photos and some are quite good. Noticed that one of our group was hidden behind a tree branch during the blessing by the Shaman. Think the photographers should be more aware of obstructions as the guests are not allowed to bring their own cameras. Overall, I loved the tour and would recommend it highly. Memo is a gem!

Very entertaining, fun and beautifull places.

Tour staff were very knowledgeble, we learned about coral reef and how to keep the enviroment safe and clean for sea life. Staff was very friendly and always trying to keep the boat ride upbeat with music and dancing. Coral reef is really cool, lots of fish, corals, turtles and crystal clear water. Contoy Island is paradise, white sands and clear water. It may get busy sometimes with other tours but was good but not as bad compared to Isla Mujeres. Food was good too. Nice breakfast once you get to the marina, drinks from water to beer and nice lunch which include fish and/or chicken with rice and salad. We recommend for other people to bring sunglasses, hat and long sleeve shirt because sunblock is not allowed.

Carlos Solis made the tour authentic, fun and meaningful.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. And I would highly recommend it to everyone! Our guide Carlos Solis was authentic and professional. His knowledge of Tulum was inspiring. His Mayan background made the stories poignant. Then at the Ecological Park we had fun that exceeded my expectations. As the name implies, it is a natural preserve. So it was the real deal. There were many cenotes and a beautiful small lake where we zip lined through natures beauty. And lunch was prepared by some of the Mayan people living in the park. You could not ask for a more authentic (non commercial) tour. Thanks to our driver Oscar whose quiet and steady driving got us home safely. And thank you to Carlos. It was an honor to meet you.

Superb experience- friendly staff, great food, amazing natural wonder

Shuttle driver Alejandro was friendly, courteous, and provided great ride details and pointed out spots of interest. Video playing in van was informative and interesting. Guide was Jesus who was friendly, charming, knowledgeable, and showed great concern for the participants. Xtabentún drink was wonderful and unique! Lunch was delicious with great variety of options. A must do activity!

It was pretty and the tour guide was good

The only negative thing about this experience is that we didn't do the whole day package with the repelling and bike ride through the jungle! It was great in the underwater river but it was one of those that you could have gone longer in it. So pretty and a great experience.
