Lovely evening with friends on the Mersey

Having read the good and bad feedback, and watching the weather forecast, I was worrying that the evening would turn out terribly. It’s something different to do and many on board went in larger groups for birthday celebrations. Seeing Liverpool and Wallasey from the river and cruising right out towards the turbines was lovely. The guitarist singer was good, taking requests and we danced in a very small area - dancing with strangers- I don’t usually dance! We had a fab evening and made it great. I would say that we were on the same deck as the singer and don’t know how great below deck felt through a speaker. I did hear that they danced too. I think the ferry could invest in a better sound system. A good night with a difference, especially to celebrate with friends.

Tour Guide and Driver with their tremendous personality’s made it

The Driver and Tour guide were fantastic! So a group of 12 of us picked up bus the first bus of the day at stop 1 but not realising our e tickets had to be validated at the office at stop 2 - No worry’s said the Driver “ Hop on” and We will drive round to stop 2 “Hop off” and I’ll wait for you whilst you sort tickets - just a nice touch and so typical of the lovely people of Liverpool. The rest of the tour was just so informative- but the banter between the Driver, the tour guide and our group from Essex made it for us / many Thanks and much appreciated

A nostalgic trip that revived great memories

I used to travel every day on the Wallasey ferry as my school was in Liverpool. Every morning I would join hordes of business men commuting to Liverpool on the boat. They all wore bowler hats and carried brief cases and umbrellas. And they had a curious tradition of walking (on mass) in an anticlockwise direction the moment they got on board. And repeated the exercise on their return journey after a day's work. I found the daily trip utterly delightful - and still do ...

An opportunity to see the famous sites from a different perspective

The cruise made one feel part of the 800-year history of river vessels crossing the Mersey. To have had the opportunity to alight at Woodbridge and ride a retro tram to Wirral transport museum was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend the cruise to anyone coming to Liverpool.

Good value, an excellent way to navigate the city

River cruise was good, U-boat exhibition surprisingly informing too. Hop on hop off bus was an excellent way to navigate the city - the tour guides northern banter and knowledge was very entertaining.
