What people are saying about Riomaggiore
We had a wonderful day with a bus full of people going out to Cinque Terre and Marco, our tour guide was spot on! He cares for each one of us like we were the only ones there and gave great directions to all of us as we journeyed From town to town. Thanks to Marco!!! Cinque Terre area itself, is something that has to be seen! Seeing photos just won't do it justice! Each town had an unique quality about them and it was great going from area to area on the local train and then riding the boat from the top of the 5 cities down to the bottom... Before we left to come back to Florence... it had a great view and made some wonderful memories. We wavered back and forth going to Cinque Terre because we had just gotten off a medditerran cruise and thought we had seen it all... but WOW... definitely a top ranked item on our vacation list of favorites! Again Marco-thanks!
Reasonable free time. Would have appreciated some written information specifying the rendez-vous after each stop. Document indicating and explaining the trip start meeting point is showing wrong location on a Google map!!! This made us almost miss the bus! This makes absolutely non sense since usually using a Google pin on a map is what gives the best information you would expect!
Emanuela and Fausto were simply amazing. They quickly made us feel welcome aboard, safe and excited for the sailing to begin. They have lots of experience and I felt 100% safe with them. Lunch aboard was really good, wine and beer were really good as well. Overall an amazing day! Clearly the highlight of my time in La Spezia. Thank you again!!
Nothing could be more enjoyable than a day on the water with Pieter and Manu. Such wonderful hosts who love the ocean and are passionate about their home. Be prepared to be spoilt with their generosity, sense of humour and energy. Thanks
A private walking tour with a local was one of the top highlights of our trip. Alessandro explained the changes from his forefathers to today. We walked through his vineyards and got to enjoy a glass of wine and the end of the tour.
