Great tour, fresh air, amazing scenery and sights

Kiril was an excellent guide to Rila Monastery and the Stob Pyramids. The air was so fresh in the mountains and the church by the hermit's cave was incredible to see. Kiril was very knowledgeable and helpful, he took us to a great restaurant serving Balkan trout farmed at the back of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this tour

Very much enjoyed seeing the monastery; worth the trip.

Enjoyed my time in Sofia and the trip to the monastery. It was about 2 hours to travel in the traffic, but it was more than worth it. Very friendly people and a knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed having lunch at the restaurant also.

The knowledge of the guide makes the difference

The Rila Monaster and Bojiana Church are beautiful, incredible afrescos, but I thought that 4 hr driving could be too much, but thanks to Cristo our guide...it couldn't be a better experience. He has a big knowledge of everything, professional and Joking at the same time.

Rila Monastery is a wonderful masterpiece

The trip was quite pleasant and the guide was very knowlegeable and kept the whole group quite interested and entertained. It is certainly worth to take a day to visit the Monastery. Too bad that te monastery photo policy does not allow pictures of the monastery taken from the top floor verandas where we can have the best perspective, only from the ground level.

Two majestic UNESCO World Heritage Sites in one day. A great tour!

Maria was the best guide anyone could ever get for this tour. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip so memorable. The frescoes at Rila Monastery were stunning and our walk, in the snow, up a deserted mountain path to St John’s Cave was a real bonus, normally shared by hundreds of tourists and we had it to ourselves! After leaving Rila Monastery we had a lovely lunch before driving on to Boyone Church, a mystical and enchanting place for any visitor. The day was capped off by a short drive around Sofia where Maria pointed out the main places to visit for the rest of our stay. A great tour and guide who I would recommend to everybody if you get the chance to do it.
