What people are saying about Riddarholmen
This was a great start to our time in Stockholm. We had a tour at 2pm on our first day with Katrina. She was lovely! Super knowledgeable about Sweden, Stockholm and the area our tour was in, Gamla Stan. We lucked out and it was just my boyfriend and I for the tour, so we had her full attention and asked all sorts of questions we she happily asked. Deffo recommend this as a way to find your bearings and learn about Stockholm's rich history. Thanks Katrina!
In 90 minutes we see a lot of Stockholm and stopped at interesting spots where our guide Felix told us interesting history of Stockholm and some happenings today. The distance we "segwayed" is much longer that we ever could have walked. In Old Town it was quite crowded but no problem to go around when needed. We are 50+ yrs and there was no problem to run in traffic or on pavement.
The walk was magnificent! Our guide could speak clearly English, and took his time if one in the group had a question or two. He knew all the important histories and tales of the forgotten time! I would recommend this trip to everyone I know :) and if you aren't interested in history, do the trip anyway :) the old town of Stockholm is a visit worth!
Our Old Town walking tour with Anna was very informative and enjoyable. She was engaging and friendly, and shared many insights that added to our visit. The time of 90 minutes was just about right and gave us ideas about sights, restaurants, and shopping to follow up with more time after the tour.
We had the pleasure to have this very interesting tour with Anna as the guide. Lovely places and detailed descriptions. Anna turned out to be a perfect guide that made this experience really enjoyable and educational. Emma and Maurizio
