A very well run company with lovely friendly staff. The boat is well looked after and very clean and comfy with different areas depending on your preference for sunshine or aircon and shade. There is a smoking area on the lower deck out of the way from other passengers. Refreshments are available onboard at a reasonable price including fresh sandwiches and snacks. The journey from Rhodes to Lindos takes about 2hrs and areas of interest are pointed out on route. We had 3 hours in Lindos which was plenty of time to explore and have a lovely meal in one of the rooftop tavernas overlooking the village and beautiful bay. The boat left punctually at 2pm and on the return journey we stopped in two lovely places for much welcome swimming off the boat. The boat has floats available for swimming with for those that aren’t confident swimmers or just want to play in the sea. The crew oversee the swimming to check everyone is safe and ok. Highly recommend as a good value for money family day out.
I joined this 2 hour-Windsurfing course together with my partner and it was a great experience! We experienced an awesome 1:1 support with one trainer per person and started with a short theoretical overview of the topic before trying our best in the sea by ourselves. The trainers were with us in the water all the time and supported us very well. Both of us are not that sporty persons but wanted to have a new experience and the trainers managed us to reach a few meters of windsurfing and the most basic techniques around it. Despite of low wind (which made it a real challenge to keep the balance) and numerous times of falling down, it was a very great experience and we spent two hours of having fun and learning a new experience. We felt well-understood all the time and never under pressure. With regards to language barriers we can say that even my partner, who is not a safe english speaker at all, was able to follow, learn and cooperate in a 1:1 situation with his trainer. Thank you!
Took a day coach trip from Ialyssos to Lindos, first stopping off at 7 Springs. What a picturesque setting, also a small lake is created by the running waters and you can reach it by a narrow tunnel of approximately 200 meters - pitch black and paddling in the spring waters - it was lovely. Then we travelled onto Lindos, down a steep road to get to Lindos village, then walked up a 300 step climb to the Acropolis (with all the footfall over the years, the trek was a bit slippery) - the trip didn't include entrance tho (was an extra 12 euros)! Chose to take the Donkey track down the meandering pathway to get to the beach - which was glorious. Then staggered back up the steep road - was a bit exhausting. All in all a very enjoyable day, we were only on a small mini-bus - a bit cramped air-con kept us all cool, but positively this meant we weren't waiting for too many other guests - timings were great. Another well organised trip by Get Your Guide, thank-you.
Everyone who was ever in Rhodes says the two "must see" places are Lindos and the Old Town, they also say they would like to have more information about these areas. Here you get to see the best of these places, while also getting very informative guidance. You get picked up from your hotel and dropped back off there. I would recommend brining a lot of water for it is a long day, and Lindos is very hot, and you will have the option to walk up many stairs and hills to see the best views. Also it is optional to stop and eat in Lindos, but with in my opinion you are better off eating in the AC on the bus, and then again in the old time, were your free time wouldn't be wasted. I also recommend going back to the Tavernas of the old city at night, or just staying there till night. It is another experience worth having in Greece, with live Greek music and a good vibe.
Our day was really good driver ( unfortunately cannot remember his name) were exceptional and made the day Venues we’re really good and Mariana described the island history and venue information clearly and with some entertainment. The only slight negative is the day should be extended to give a little more time at each venue as there is so much to see ( particularly the filerimos cross and church as they’re are too far apart to visit both And butterfly valley as you can easily get drawn into going to the top then having to rush back down
