Survival suits are available on board, these should be used in any case, especially in the colder months of the year, since sometimes punishing speeds are driven to see something ...

After the trip to the open sea, we saw dolphins and minke whales with the help of the guide (a marine biologist). And then we actually saw a humpback whale. This impressive moment was only brief, because after a couple of times the whale finally submerged completely. But it was great anyway!

We saw nothing, not a whale, not a dolphin, not a bird! It's just a sea trip and that's it! Very disappointing ! A French couple who had already done the activity the day before had seen nothing either and had tried their luck the same day as us for the same result. I came to Iceland mostly to see the whales because it is my dream and I chose Iceland only because you can supposedly see them all year round. Well no, it is obviously not the case. This is the first time that I have been so disappointed with an excursion. All the excursions that I have been able to do before on previous trips have kept their promises (Dolphins, Turtles ...) Really a shame.
