Full description
Enjoy a 6-hour scenic jeep tour of the lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula, a beautiful area of vast lava fields, volcanic craters, and hot springs. See the Mid-Atlantic rift, then take a dip in the geothermal Blue Lagoon.

The Volcano Garden tour operates every day, driving you deep into the southwest corner of Iceland, where the world's longest undersea rift, the Mid Atlantic Ridge, rises from the ocean to travel through the peninsula of more than 100 volcanic craters and 200 lava tubes.

The Reykjanes Peninsula also includes 4 of the most powerful geothermal areas in Iceland, and as you explore you will stop at more than 20 interesting places along the way. Visit the Krýsuvík Geothermal area to see the hot springs at Seltun. Hike through volcanic craters and discover the Flagg House, the oldest house in Grindavik, where free coffee is served.

Cave into a lava tube to explore where melted lava flowed into underground rivers a few hundred years ago. Marvel at amazing rock formations that remain untouched by the fierce Icelandic winter storms, heavy snow, and the not-so-delicate human touch.

Stop at the Blue Lagoon (Bláa lónið), the legendary natural spa, and bathe in the warm, geothermal, mineral-rich water, where the temperature is a blissful 100-103°F (37-39°C).
